Weekly Meeting Schedule (EST)

Christian Recovery Online is sponsored by The 4 Gospels Christian Network. We are a 100% Christian Community dedicated to praising Jesus daily. Christian Recovery Online is a place for Christians in recovery and ALL Chirstians to meet online and socialize with other Christians. We are dedicated to promoting programs such as Celebrate Recovery and other face-to-face Christ-based recovery that have changed the life of so many. It is true that those members can meet and socialize at other Christian sites, but not in an environment that is as private and secure as ours. You will never be judged. Some of these sites charge for their membership. It is the understanding of Christian Recovery Online that we should never charge for the healing that is done by Jesus Christ. To us this would be like charging admission to your local church. Come join the fun in our well moderated 100% Christian Community.

Growing in God's Word and regular fellowship with other Christians is the way to recovery. You can not expect to rid yourself of your hurts, habits and hang ups simply by meeting once a week to follow recovery steps. Although this is very helpful it is just the beginning. You need God in your life every day.

We do not charge for membership, it is free! Christian Recovery Online is supported solely by your donations. We are currently looking into adding voice and video to our share meetings. Ninety-five percent of all donations go directly to the experiences required  to operate the site. Please help our humble ministry.

1 Co 12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

We are not just a recovery forum. Share your opinion on hundreds of Biblical topics. So even if you are not here for recovery you can speak your mind on many issues. The Fellowship meetings are awesome!

For our members?

We have many members that are here simply for the Christian fellowship. For any recovery program to work, you have to work it. You must ernestly apply the steps, principles, and lessons.

  • Become friends with the other members. Communicate with them through Private Messaging from the site. (doing this keeps your personal email private)
  • Reading God's Word daily >>> Daily reading plan
  • Have regular private chats with your sponsor.
  • Attend as many of the 8:00 pm fellowship meetings as possible. (Study God's Word)
  • Share your progress in the private forums often. (you must join a CR group to enter)
  • All Coaches appear in Red in the chat rooms. Double click there name for instant private conversation.

Have fun while you are here.

For those currently meeting face to face:

  • For those that are attending a Celebrate Recovery program or any other face-to-face Christ-based programs in their church, we are here as a totally safe environment for members to meet online. No where on the internet will you find forums and chat rooms that are as dedicated to your privacy. We are very little different from the CR groups on Facebook, except that we can offer more security, privacy, We are NOT here to replace your face-to-face meetings. In fact, if you are already attending a face-to-face group, we require that you continue with your meetings to remain a member here.
  • In addition to the private forums and chat rooms, we offer one-on-one private chat rooms for you and your sponsor to meet 24/7. This could be a benefit over a phone call in some cases. (e.g. your sponsor is a long distance call for you, you are on vacation and contact with your sponsor is long distance) The Internet is everywhere now.
  • As we grow you will meet people in recovery from around the world.

For all members:

  • Private "Step" forums for working the step lessons with members of your group 24/7.
  • One-on-one private chat rooms for sponsor meetings. (only 2 allowed in the room at time)
  • One-on-one counseling with Dr. Don McKay.
  • Private personal journal forums to post your progress or lack of progress and post a daily inventory.
  • A friendly 100% Christian atmosphere.
  • Christain fellowship and Bible study nightly @ 8:00 pm EST
  • Prayer meeting every Friday night at 8:00 EST
  • Many features are available 24/7.

Christian Recovery Online forums are a Christian, Bible-based Internet ministry which is not a part of any one church group or denomination and is hosted by the 4 Gospels Christian Network.

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We hold the Bible to be inerrant in the original writings, infallible, God-breathed, the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit was the divine author of Scripture (2 Peter 1:21). Their are no errors or contradictions.

We believe in one Triune God, who is Creator of all (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 1:16), eternally existing in three distinct Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14), yet one in being, essence, power and glory, having the same attributes and perfections (John 10:30). God is our creator (Genesis 1:1), is eternal (Psalm 90:2), infinite (1 Timothy 1:17), sovereign (Psalm 93:1) and unsearchable (Romans 11:33-34). God is omniscient (Psalm 139:1-6), omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-13), omnipotent (Revelation 19:6), and unchanging (Malachi 3:6). God is holy (Isaiah 6:3), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and righteous (Exodus 9:27). God is love (1 John 4:8), gracious (Ephesians 2:8), merciful (1 Peter 1:3), and good (Romans 8:28).

We believe the substitutionary and redemptive sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ for the sin of the world, through His literal physical death, burial, and bodily resurrection followed by His ascension into Heaven. And that because this sacrifice all that believe in Him shall have eternal life, (John 3:16; John 14:6).

We believe in the regeneration by the Holy Spirit as absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful men.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, (John 14:16; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7 ) by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live the Godly life.

We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ as being the one mediator between man and God (1 Titus 2:5)

We believe in personal salvation from the eternal penalty of sin, provided exclusively by the grace of God on the basis of the atoning death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, to be received only through individual faith in His Person and redemptive work on the cross, and to be followed with a life characterized by the empowering grace of the Holy Spirit, giving evidence in loving service and adherence to the principles and practices of the Christian Faith as set forth in the New Testament.

We believe in the future personal, return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth to judge and establish His eternal kingdom and to consummate and fulfill all His purposes, the works of creation, and redemption, with eternal reward for believers and eternal punishments for the unsaved.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ, and the evidence of that unity being shown by how we love one another and conduct our ministry.
